wtf dA?

Wed Mar 19, 2008, 2:35 PM
So I got bored and decided "Hey, I'ma click that li'l link at the bottom right of the page that says 'Random Deviation'!"

While doing this for about 20 or so minutes(very bored) I've come to realize a few things about dA that makes me go "WTF?".

1. Most of the deviations i came across were horrid, irrelevant, and not art. I know I haven't really posted alot of stuff and what i have has just been school work, but shit, wtf? There was a low quality picture of some guy just pulling a fucking tarp in a garage. WTF dA?

2. Alot of shit art gets more comments then really good stuff. I mean most of the stuff I came across that didn't make me want to kick someone in the face was photos, and I've started to become a sucker for photography, but they had like no fucking comments while some shit drawing of a 12 year old thinking they can draw anime or draw normally for that manner has like 2 pages of comments. WTF, dA?

3. Fetish Portraits. WTF, dA?

4. Emotive Portraits? You mean Myspace photos? Wtf dA?

5. Now I've learned quite a bit at L C cubed, and one thing I have to say is, dA, get you definition of Resolution fixed. Your reffering dimensions as resolution.

There's a few other things I could rant about, but I won't right know.
And this has not been brought about because nobody comments me >.>

P.S. Going to make some stuff during Easter break, post around monday.
